A Brief History 

Italian Foods was formed in 2000 from the merger of Pioneer Pizza & Riviera Foods. This brought together manufacturing capability for a range of pizzas, fresh pasta, filled pasta (ravioli, cannelloni and lasagne), desserts (gelati, sorbet and tiramisu). A range of home meal replacements is produced under contract for New Zealand and Australian supermarkets.

We have tried as much as possible to keep tradition by using original Italian food recipes and in so doing we take pride in the fact that all our products are made without any artificial colourings, flavourings or ingredients.
The customers supplied with fresh or frozen products include: Wholesalers, Distributors, Supermarkets and organisations wanting to sell pizzas and pastas for fundraising.

As a commitment to food safety, Italian Foods meets the most stringent requirements. The company is currently registered with the New Zealand Food Safety Authority allowing exemption from the New Zealand Food Hygiene Regulations.
